I am Michael, a qualified Swedish massage, Reiki Therapist with counselling experience and an interest in Existentialism, Huna Philosophy and Christianity, I am a good listener, however I am non-religious and apolitical, believing many of the world issues are caused by our politicians and religious leaders for their own benefit. To exacerbate difference is always a means to achieve control.

I have branched out into alternative therapies as a means to share my considerable experience in this area. I have been involved with relaxation, meditation and alternative therapies since the early 70's, way before these alternative practices became popular. I was going through a particularly stressful time in my life, work, family, commuting all causing huge tensions in my body, I was working in London and living in Hastings. An awakening in me occurred when I discovered the Relaxation Society, run by the late Rev Geoffrey Harding MC in St Mary Woolnoth the Hawksmore Church Opposite the Bank of England. Relaxation and calmness have been a mantra that I have carried with me in my journey through life, how to relieve tension and stress caused by the pressures of working in the 21st Century. To achieve beneficial relaxation, you must be relaxed in your body, accept its limitations and be willing to embrace the challenges that we all face.

I am a great believer in Organic Farming, once we never asked the question, it was all organic, we had been farming like this for 1000's of years.  Then the chemists and big business  discovered how to make inorganic fertilisers, and we have been on a downward trip since then.  Many of stresses that we experience are caused by wrong food, busy lifestyle and pollution in our air and water.

 

After a busy life at Board level in many large National and International Organisations, I decide to share my experience and knowledge in this area and indulge in my real passion, bringing together various holistic therapies to heal the mind and body.  I offer my services to both female and male clients and am gay friendly and am non-judgmental. Please note I am not gay or bisexual.
